Thank you for choosing to place your order through Gleave and Co. Please read these conditions carefully before using our services.
1. Changes to the Agreement
1.1 Occasionally we may, at our discretion, make changes to these Terms and Conditions. The current terms and conditions can be viewed here. By continuing to use our services after any changes are made, you are expressing and acknowledging your acceptance of these changes.
2.1 Gleave and Co are defined as a ‘business to business trade wholesalers’.
2.2 'Us’, ‘We’and ‘Our’ refer to our business - Gleave and Co.
2.3 ‘Good’ or ‘Goods’ relate to any items or goods (including any instalment of goods or any parts for them) for which we are to supply in accordance with these Conditions.
2.4 ‘Conditions’ relates the conditions of sale set out in this document and any special and/or additional conditions agreed in writing by us.
2.5 ‘Customer’ refers to the account holder or person whom accepts a quotation from us or whose order for the Goods is accepted by us.
3. Conditions of Sale
3.1 After full payment for goods has been received by us the ownership of goods passes from us to the customer. All goods remain our property until full payment is received for any goods purchased.
4.1 All prices of the goods displayed on our site are subject to change without prior notice.
4.2 In the unlikely event of a price change immediately after a purchase has been made, and before the customer receives their goods, we will notify the customer of the change and allow cancellation of the goods for which the prices have changed.
4.3 All prices displayed on our site are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT at the current rate will be added to all orders. VAT is applicable to both goods and postage/packing/carriage.
4.4 Carriage charges are quoted when checking out through our website. The charge is based on a combination of weight, value, size and postal service.
4.5 We are a trade company and therefore have a minimum order value of £10 for any order, prior to carriage charges and VAT.
5.1 Goods listed as in stock are usually available from stock ready for dispatch. However if goods are listed as “In Stock”, this is not a guarantee that they can be dispatched from stock. We run a very popular counter service which may cause items to become out of stock before the website is updated. If goods are purchased which are not available from stock they will be forwarded to the customer at the earliest opportunity. We recommend contacting us first to check availability if purchasing large quantities of individual products.
6. Items not Received
6.1 At the checkout customers are able to select various postage options. If the order value is low, customers may wish to use a postal service without insurance. owver, we do not take any responsibility for goods lost through non-insured postal options. We recommend using a tracked/insured service for all orders.
6.2 In the event that items sent through an insured/tracked postal service are not received, please contact us by phone.
7.1 Any goods returned must be in their original condition and packaging. We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet this criteria. All returned items are thoroughly inspected by our trained staff for damage and defects caused by customers. Postage at all times is non-refundable.
7.2 Any goods returned which are correctly supplied will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and postage is non-refunadable.
7.3 All movements are checked thoroughly to ensure they are in perfect working order by our trained staff prior to despatch and are labelled as such. Our movements are all brand new from factories and are non-returnable.
7.4 Any returns that have been authorised by us, are to be returned using a signed for service. Postage costs are non-refundable.
